Useful Free Scripts for Galleries & Web Page

Playing around, I wanted to see if I could implement these scripts into a Shozam gallery.  Both of them can be used either in a gallery or on a web page.

They are both in this gallery:

    Air Force

Script 1 is at the top and Script 2 below the gallery.

    Script 1 from:   http://addthis.com.

This one is on many sites.  The standard code is nice but they give you examples on how to modify it.  In this case, I modified the code a bit and included the email selection so someone can easily email the link of the gallery page they are on besides all the other selections where you can add the page link.  You can also create your own button or use text but in this case, I used one of their's for now.  Also, the site has an analytics package as well.

A note for Firefox users that if you mouseover the "Share" button when at the intro, it will blank out.  Seems fine in IE7 and Safari.

    Script to from:   http://www.freepdfconvert.com.

One of my clients sent me this link.  Ideally, it is used for converting a Word doc to a .pdf but this site has a neat feature where you can convert a url to a .pdf by inserting it into a form on the site.  Plus, they give you code to place on a page where a visitor can convert it on their own if they want to.  It may not be that practical in a Shozam gallery but if you have a page or pages on your site that you may want a vistor to easily save, this is a very useful script.

Here is an example of it working on a web page:

    Upcoming Shows

This script will blank out the intro in all browsers but seems fine on album pages.

Both sites allow you to use the scripts for free but Script 2 has some use limitations for the free version.
