    Slideshows not working

    OK, I've used Shozam for a long time now and until today have never had this issue. It started when I added a very small album to my gallery. The gallery contains about 11 albums. Everything generally worked just fine. After adding the new album none of my slideshows function. The link is there but not clickable. I generated the new gallery with the generate new files option. The slideshows work fine on my hard drive but not after I upload them to the server. That being a problem I decided to regenerate all the files. Still they work fine on my hard drive but not on the server. So then I decided, OK maybe something is actually overwriting on the server so I deleted the entire gallery (104 megs), and uploaded all the new files. Problem is still there. I saw no errors during uploading (I use WSFTPro). I've gone through all my settings in Shozam, and think I've tried just about everything short of blowing up my house. Nothing has seemed to work. Now I'm beginning to wonder if it's something gone nuts in my browser. I've cleared the cache so many times there can't possibly be anything there. It's the same browser I use to view the files on my HD.

    At this point I'm totally stumped and confused as to why this might happen. BTW, I'm using FF2. I am off to try FF3RC1 and IE and see if they work.

    Could someone check my gallery and see if it's just an issue with me?

    Thanks.

    Re: Slideshows not working

     So now I've checked the slideshows in FF2, FF3RC1, and IE. Now I'm thinking it is a FF issue with having two versions of their browser installed because the slideshows work fine in IE.

    Re: Slideshows not working

     So now I've uninstalled FF3RC1, FF2 and re-installed FF2. The issue with the slideshows in this one gallery is still there. I have several other galleries and the slideshows in them work fine. Does anybody have any idea what is going on. According to FF's DOM there is an error in the page. Actually it's logging about 100 errors, but only on this one page.

     Actually it has to do with this error, and gets it from theme.css

    	filter: Alpha(Opacity=100);

    I don't see why anything like that would cause a slideshow not to work though.

    Re: Slideshows not working

    Issue resolved. In case someone else experiences this behavior with a slideshow, here's what caused it.

    The gallery was designed with a modified Shozam theme and placed in an iframe inside a page. When adding a new album I decided to remove some information in the above banner space and also in the footer. I hid the above banner spacing. Because the page would display dual scrollbars at times due to the number of toolbars I have in FF I decided to resize the iframe and the page itself. By resizing the iframe and main page larger then the slideshow link would be clickable. I don't know why that would be the culprit, but it certainly appears to have been the problem.
