    Resizing Main Image Container

    Hi All,

I'm sure at some point I will need to upgrade to Shozam, but for now...any thoughts on how I can resize the main image 'box' in WGW Pro? I would prefer if my viewers did not have to scroll to see my entire comment area. I am definitely more of a 'designer' than 'developer' so I was pretty intimidated when I took a look at the amount of different types of code!

I don't think it matters, but I am using the top menu option as well.

    Thanks!

    Bobochina,

The WGW program generates images of a predetermined size - no options to change that. Layout was designed to accommodate users that have screen set up at 800x600 without having to scroll horizontally. Shozam allows for larger images by default and a more modern layout with more customization options.

Thank you very much for the reply! I may have misspoke. I do not wish to change the size of the image. Only the height of the containing 'stage'. Is it possible to rewrite that code in one of the gallery files? Thank you again!

I see... that parameter is not editable from within the program. You may be able to edit the HTML of the generated file to achieve such a result but this will require HTML experience. Also, if you decide to use WGW to generate the gallery files again from within the program, your manual edits will be overwritten.

    Re: Resizing Main Image Container

Thank you again! Which HTML file contains the required size code, can you tell me? I am more than willing to make some mistakes along the way to learning! So far some of my mistakes have had pretty nice results! I see four html files in my top folder (I am using the menu) and then two other non image html files in the gallery folder...'album1' and 'index'. I also see references to a css in there, but when I played around with the heights in there I didn't see the results I desired. Thanks for your continued time and effort!

I don't remember the specific filename. Also, I am not sure if the size of the srolling area is set in the HTML or in the CSS. I think WGW was setting it through an inline frameset so you may look then for HTML code containing 'iframe' and change that dimension. Good luck.

Yahoo! It was WGW1550. That did it! Thanks very much.
