    Panoramic Images

One of the reasons I purchased Web Gallery Wizard Pro was it`s great use in making Panoramic Images look fantastic when using the enlarged function. Also It was able to show the full enlarged image.

Yet with Shozam I`m yet to Master this small basic function. When I do use the Enlarge function the Images are just not full size....

I may be doing something wrong , but maybe this could be looked into in time....Web Gallery to me is still superb and I dont think i`ll stop using it... Shozam on the other hand will take me a while to get used to..

The choice is good , but most people wont jump into buying it until they know what option is best for them. There is so much choice it makes it a little difficult what version of Shozam people will choose..

I have to say that the prices of the program do suit many people..And it`s not priced idiotically like some other programs on the market.....

Overall good choice and good features that put the customer in control...

Victor, thank you for the feedback. Please provide some more detail on the Panoramic issue. Do you have some links to pages that demonstrate what you are talking about? I am not sure I understand the problem. If you are refering to the "Original" link not working, this is a browser security issue with IE.

    1. In Step 2 --> Other tab, select the image you want to provide full resolution pages
    2. Check "Include copy of hogh-resolution original"
    3. Generate your gallery

A link named "Original" will appear in the navigation bar. Click on it to see full size image. This does not work in IE while offline (browser security issue) but works fine once you upload your gallery. The link works fine in Firefox, both online and offline.

    Razvan,

    "Quote"

A link named "Original" will appear in the navigation bar....

That sorted the problem out as I was working offline..And when uploaded the test Galleries to the internet they worked perfectly the way you have directed me to do it..

I also like the point that Web Gallery does a nice grey background on the Enlarged Images and wondered if that can be added to the Shozam when the Original size is opened up too...

    I`m using Windows Millenium P3 500Mhz Cpu and 512 ram pc100 Bus...

Both programs SHOZAM and WEB GALLERY PRO run fine on this low powered computer without any crashes or delay.

The Geo-tagging with the Google Maps is an excellent feature that would show exactly where my street Panoramics are..  Great Ideas!!!

I`m very impressed with Shozam so far.. Just hard to choose which one I can afford LOL LOL

    Re: Panoramic Images

The grey background on the "Original" image was becasue the image opened into an HTML page. Now the link just triggers the JPG file so it opens empty in a default browser window, which typically has a white background. one of the reasons why we opted for this simpler implementation is to respond to users that like the auto-scaling feature. When you open a very large JPG in IE, it gets automatically scaled to fit the window. this does not happen if the image is part of an HTML page. Tradeoffs...

    Re: Panoramic Images

Web Gallery Wizard has encoding to UTF-8 instead of Unicode so that Firefox works as well -- is there a change scheduled for Shozam as well?

     Thanks.

    irac94303,

Are you encountering any issues? Please provide more details on how you are affected by the difference between UTF-8 and Unicode for the HTML encoding.
