Hello, I have yahoo hosting my site. and I'm having problems loading the web galley onto yahoo sever. This message pops up ''ERROR: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond'' I'm also wondering is there a different way to upload with yahoo?

This type of error appears when settings are incorrect. Recommended steps:

Get from your webhost the following:

• FTP server name
• Username
• Password
• Clarification if they require your website (http) files to reside in any particular directory on the server

Read the respective help file on how to use the information above to create a correct Upload Preset in Step 6 of Shozam

If you are still have issues, contact Helpdesk with the following:

• All information above, as provided by your webhost
• The settings you enter in Shozam
• Clarification on where you want your gallery to appear online (at what web address). For example, if your gallery is meant to be your main site, it will be something like http://mydomain.com; if gallery is meant to be a component of your site, it will be something like http://mydomain.com/gallery.

You an also upload using any other third party FTP application, like FileZilla or any other one which Yahoo webhosting may recommend.

 My galleries are also hosted on Yahoo. Recently I have been having problems with their servers although different than the problems you are having. The root directory for your website is also your username (Yahoo account ID). I don't use Shozam to upload the files because I was having too many problems with the server not allowing the upload (not a Shozam problem). I use WSFTPro to upload my galleries and still have some problems at times, mostly the server not allowing me to login. If you continue to have errors you might want to try an FTP client program. A fairly good free one is Filezilla. I think you get it at www.mozilla.org.
