    New Gallery posted.

    Hello,

I just posted a new gallery. It is a gallery with an inserted .swf intro rather than a provided theme.
It's a work in progress. Some minor touch up will be forthcoming.
    Please have a look.

     Very nice site layout.

One suggestion for your work in progress.

Hide you Banner and the space above it.  You already have Primetime Bulldogs at the top of the page and by hiding the banner and space, that should move your gallery up.

    Thanks Cowboy,

I had given that some thought and will likely do it.

WOW someone has been busy! I liked your site but it was a bit busy for me. All those slamming doors brought back memories of my childhood when Mom would yell, "quit slamming the door!". Yes, back then we went out side to play. I will be checking out your link to the flash software you use. It was impressive.  Perhaps I will find some whispering winds and babbling brooks sound effects.

When I first saw the long column on the left of the gallery opening page, I thought it would be better with a smaller font so it didn't hang down and unbalance the page but I see you use it throughout the site. I didn't look to see if you were using frames. I assume you will fill the space below the gallery with something else like you have on other pages. Perhaps you could add cannons firing or a B57 taking off between dogs barking. To me, there is a fine line between the flash being entertaining and annoying. But what do I know, I'm just a grumpy old man. I remember when high tech was pushbuttons on the radio. And, if the reception was good that night, you might hear " The green Hornet" or "The Shadow Knows" Back then, flash was what you got when you hooked the car battery up wrong to the new radio on the dining room table. Keep on flashing.

    DSDigitals,
Good luck with the whispering winds and babbling brooks sound effects.

Yep, the entire site could be described as a bit noisy. My wife and daughter have their own wishes. They wanted a family friendly, children entertaining site that offered multimedia experiences rather than just reading through a bunch of pages.

No, the site is not framed. I use a number of DWTs depending on the site area.

I'm not far from the grumpy old man stage. Much of what you mentioned rang true to my childhood. As far as adding the the B57 take-off....I'd be more apt to add an F-4 since I flew them in the early 70's.

I do enjoy the Swishmax program. Their forums are great, their template libraries are good, and the program is easy enough for this "late starter" to the computer world.

    Best wishes,
    JS
