  • Re: Shame on Shozam

RoseRed, It is not a "penalty"; rather a premium for the flexibility of saving (by starting with a lower edition) and then being able to upgrade at any time, if and when your needs increase. I also ought to mention that each separate transaction has fixed costs to us so we incorporate those...

  • Re: Upgrading

Dellboy, I just wanted to clarify that the intent is not to be mean spirited. Each transaction has certain costs that KOMOTION pays to third parties as well as the activation process which currently has to be done manually. To cover these costs, there is an additional transaction fee of $10-$20 added...

  • Upgrades - unreasonable pricing

I tested Shozam for a while and liked it, so I purchased the Lite version. I love how easy it is to use, but I realized that the image quality of the demo version was better than the Lite version, so I wanted to upgrade to the next level, Express. HOWEVER, I can't help but feel that this company...

  • Re: Upgrades

FrAnthony, Indeed, the upgrade products are not yet available but "soon" is now closer than ever (just a couple of days or so)... FYI - The main reason for the delay is that we wanted to implement automatic activation for the upgrade products the same way it works for full products. We identified...

  • Re: Shozam link

Digigal, Yes, you can upgrade from one Shozam Edition to another. This will allow you to keep any Shozam galleries you may have created rather than having to start over from scratch with a new edition. The cost to upgrade is the difference between the two editions plus a transaction fee.

  • Pricing for Shozam edition upgrades

Norriscustodio, the *upgrade* products will be available in the next couple of weeks. The price for an upgrade will be the difference between the price of the two editions + transaction costs of $10-$20. The upgrade prices are not affected by any of the introductory promotions. Shozam Advanced Edition...

  • Re: How do I upgrade

Tom, I expect the "upgrade" products to be available in a couple of weeks. These will allow users to upgrade from an edition to any other "higher" edition. The upgrade price will be the price difference between the two editions + transaction costs (about $10-$20).

  • Re: When I purchase......

John, Purchasing Shozam entitles you to free minor updates (e.g. from version 1.0 to 1.1 etc.). Major product upgrades (e.g. from version 1.x to 2.x) will be available at a dscounted upgrade price. Additionally, there are upgrade paths from one Edition to another. For example, if you purchase the Advanced...
